DESCRIPTION
The NightHawk M2 is a remote-controlled motorized pan-and-tilt platform designed to position compatible spotlights, thermal imaging devices, compact cameras, action cameras, and other lightweight equipment.
It allows you to adjust the physical direction of mounted equipment remotely without manually repositioning the device.
The M2 controls the movement of the mounted device itself. Lighting, imaging, recording, thermal detection, optical zoom, and other device-specific functions depend on the equipment installed on the platform and are not built into the M2.
MOTION & REMOTE CONTROL
The NightHawk M2 provides:
Up to 270° pan
Up to 180° tilt
Wireless control at distances of up to 50 m / 164 ft in suitable open-terrain conditions
Up to 3 saved directional waypoints
Saved waypoints allow the M2 to move between selected viewing or lighting directions.
The M2 does not independently detect, identify, track, or record objects.
Actual wireless range may vary depending on obstacles, interference, weather, installation conditions, surrounding structures, and other environmental factors.

The M2 supports compatible equipment using a standard M8 mounting interface.

MOUNTING OPTIONS
Magnetic Mount
The Magnetic Mount is designed for suitable clean, flat, ferromagnetic steel surfaces.
Magnetic holding performance depends on the thickness, shape, coating, cleanliness, condition, and magnetic properties of the mounting surface.
The magnetic base is not intended for:
Aluminum
Plastic
Fiberglass
Non-magnetic stainless steel
Strongly curved surfaces
Uneven, damaged, dirty, or contaminated surfaces
Always verify that the magnetic base is fully seated and securely attached before operation.
For magnetic installations, remove the system before highway-speed travel or whenever vibration, impact, terrain, weather, or surface conditions may exceed the security of the installation.
Quick-Mount
The Quick-Mount version is designed for compatible dedicated or more permanent mounting applications.
Installation requirements depend on the vehicle, mounting surface, hardware, plate thickness, and selected configuration.
Use appropriately rated mounting hardware and inspect the installation regularly for looseness, wear, deformation, or damage.
Always confirm that the platform and attached equipment are securely installed before use.
POWER REQUIREMENTS
The NightHawk M2 operates from a compatible 12V or 24V DC power source.
Do not connect the M2 directly to household AC mains.
If stationary AC operation is required, use an appropriately rated and certified AC-to-DC power supply that matches the published DC input requirements of the product.
An AC-to-DC power supply is not included unless expressly stated in the selected configuration.
Accessories mounted on the M2 may have separate power requirements.

OUTDOOR USE
The NightHawk M2 is intended for normal outdoor field use.
Avoid submersion, continuous heavy rain, severe weather, saltwater exposure, and prolonged extreme-moisture conditions.
After use in wet, muddy, or dusty conditions, inspect and clean the mounting system, electrical connections, cables, and moving components as necessary.

The attached equipment is correctly secured
The total mounted load does not exceed 1 kg / 2.2 lb
Power connections match the required voltage and polarity

- For approved change-of-mind, incorrect-configuration, or incompatible-application returns not caused by inaccurate Huntix360 information, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Huntix360 does not charge a restocking fee.
- Change-of-mind returns must be in like-new, reasonably resellable condition and include all supplied accessories and components. Customers may open the package and perform reasonable basic inspection and functionality testing.

Important Use & Safety Notes
Please review the following information before installing and using your NightHawk M2.
1. Power & Wiring Safety
The NightHawk M2 operates from an external 12V or 24V DC power source.
Always ensure correct polarity and proper wiring. Incorrect wiring, reverse polarity, short circuits, or other improper power connections may damage the M2 or the vehicle’s electrical system.
When using high-power equipment or a dual-M2 setup, we recommend using an independent power circuit for each unit and avoiding simple Y-splitter power connections.
2. Load & Mounting
For best performance, we recommend keeping the mounted device at approximately 1 kg / 2.2 lb or less.
Before use, make sure the mounted device is securely fastened and properly balanced.
The standard mounting interface is M8. Devices using other mounting standards may require an appropriate adapter.
Avoid overloading, excessive external force, impact, or improper installation.
3. Magnetic & Quick-Mount Installation
The Magnetic version should only be used on suitable magnetic steel surfaces.
Before installation, make sure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and secure.
For non-magnetic surfaces or applications requiring a more secure installation, we recommend the Quick-Mount version.
When driving on rough terrain, at higher speeds, or under heavy vibration, regularly check that the platform remains securely mounted.
4. Water & Environmental Use
The NightHawk M2 is rated IP66 and is designed to withstand rain, splashes, dust, and normal outdoor conditions.
It is not designed for submersion.
Avoid prolonged exposure to seawater, salt spray, extreme moisture, or severe marine environments.
After use in wet conditions, keep the unit dry and inspect the connectors regularly.
5. High-Power Light Safety
High-power LED lights may become hot during prolonged use.
Do not touch the light housing immediately after operation. Allow the light to cool before adjusting, removing, or handling it.
Also make sure the light’s power requirements are compatible with the wiring and power setup being used.
6. Housing Finish
The NightHawk M2 housing is manufactured using industrial-grade 3D printing with high-performance PETG polymer.
Fine layer lines or surface texture may be visible. This is a normal characteristic of the 3D-printing process, is not a product defect, and does not affect normal product performance.
Warranty Note: Damage caused by incorrect wiring, overloading, impact, unauthorized modification, or use outside the product’s intended conditions may not be covered under warranty.

To request a cancellation or modification, contact support@huntix360.com as soon as possible with your order number. A request may be approved if the order has not entered fulfillment or been dispatched, but it is not confirmed until Huntix360 provides written confirmation. Once fulfillment has begun or the order has been dispatched, cancellation or modification may no longer be possible. If the order cannot be canceled, the applicable Return & Refund Policy will apply after delivery.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking page. The NightHawk M2 includes a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use. Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, modification, or accidents is not covered.

Thanks for sending this over. This video was taken right when I received the item. I also messed around with it in my car yesterday, and the remote works super smooth. I much prefer this style of controller over the button-type remotes. Overall I’m really happy with the product, but there are a couple things to note.
The 180W light is insanely bright, but it gets really hot. You’ve gotta be careful not to burn yourself when using it at night. Also, running it off 12V or 24V power might throttle the spotlight’s output down. A 45W version would probably be a better fit for that setup. If you’re mounting a thermal imaging unit with it though, there’s no issue at all. All in all, it’s a solid piece of gear.

Very well-made product. The spotlight is extremely bright, and the PTZ platform responds quickly and smoothly. So far, I'm very impressed. I'll come back with an update after I've had more time to use it in the field.

2 of the 5 magnetic feet were broken when it arrive. Cheap plastic base
I just saw your review, and I’m truly sorry that two of the magnetic feet arrived broken. That is not how our product should arrive.
Could you please send us a few photos of the damaged parts and the complete product? If the packaging was also damaged, please include a photo of it.
The housing is made using industrial-grade 3D printing with high-performance PETG polymer, selected for its strength, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. The visible layer texture is a normal feature of the 3D-printing process.
Regardless, the damaged magnetic feet are unacceptable. Once we receive the photos, we’ll arrange free replacements as quickly as possible.
